Twenty-three student performers from MS 61 will create a continuous runway from 8th Avenue to the Pier. On each block a performer will strike a pose and begin to sing Bob Sinclair's “World Hold On.†Once the song is over, the performers will reassemble in a triangular formation and continue the runway on the next block.
The performers will be wearing matching navy tops and bottoms with a red tie.

The performance will run from 4pm until sunset on Thursday, October 11
Location:
Along 14th Street from 8th Avenue to the Pier.

David Antonio Cruz lives and works in Brooklyn. He received his BFA from Pratt Institute, attended Skowhegan and earned his MFA at Yale University School of Art. He uses painting, video, and performance to explore and redefine migration, gluttony, exclusivity and the consumption of the American Dream.
