Interventions of a 'Bag Lady' Series: The Red Lipstick Tour of Performing 14th Street Cat Walk and the Bag Lady Blues
The Red Lipstick Tour of 14th is a roaming ‘cat-walk’ performance that recounts the history of 14th Street during the 70s and 80s through the voice of a beat up “bag lady.†Oral histories from EBN of TC5 graffiti crew inspire, the narrative driven from the projects of Ave C to the more ‘civilized’ meeting space of Union Square and to ‘Gates of Hell’ at 8th Avenue leading into the Hudson River.

Rosalinda Gonzalez was born in Germany to a Mexican-American military family. In 2009, she received an MFA in Digital Media from RISD and attended Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. Her travels inspire her interests in the psychogeography of New York City where she currently lives.
