Fashion 101 integrates the foundation of couture and the historical and contemporary importance of Fashion Illustration in conceptually visualizing clothing. Involving pedestrians intimately in her process, Khosrowshahi creates and hands out her black and white sketches to passersby along 14 Street.

The performance will take place throughout 14th Street and in the subway tunnels of the L train.

Nasrin Khosrowshahi lives and works in Vancouver, Canada. In 2010, she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, Canada. Her work has most recently been exhibited at 221A and at Emily Carr University.
