On Another Scale
The real-time installation, created along the edge of a sidewalk on 14th Street, offers an informal everyday play opportunity for both young people and adults, asking them to reconsider the role of play in everyday life. The public is invited to explore a one block-long labyrinth drawn in chalk.
Date:
Saturday, October 6 from 9am-12pm and 1-3pm; Sunday, October 7 from 9am-12pm and 1-3pm
Location:
The first day will be on the north side of 14th Street between First and Second Avenues. The second day will be on the north side of 14th Street between Eighth and Ninth Avenues.

Katya Khan is an artist exploring the field where art, landscape architecture and public involvement meet. She currently lives in Los Angeles and is working on her Master’s degree in landscape architecture.
