Craffiti On 14th Street
Small sculptures made of craft materials are installed on light posts, walls, and paper boxes along 14th Street. These small sculptural collages incorporate craft materials like foam, paper, felt, rhinestones and lace. On October 6th, a performance runway photo shoot with models will occur. Models will wear jewelry that mimics the sculptures and will pose next to pieces as they come across them on 14th Street.

Elisa Velázquez is a mixed media artist who lives and works in Queens, New York. She creates crocheted sculptures, mixed media paintings and up-cycled leather jewelry for her company UltraFresca. As an artist she uses materials that blur the lines between fine art and women’s work.
