High Tide (Red Handed)
Drawing and manual labor are collapsed as large portraits of domestic laborers are drawn onto the street facing glass surfaces of east and west 14th Street storefronts. Upon completion, the drawings are wiped away as the windows are cleaned.

Tomashi Jackson earned her Master of Science in Art, Culture, and Technology from the MIT School of Architecture and Planning and her BFA from the Cooper Union School of Art. She is a multi-media artist presently engaging issues of labor, infrastructure, narrative, technology, and intimacy.
