The Return of Quetzalcoatl
This performance of movement and sound examines the Quetzalcoatl narrative as a potential antidote to the spiritual and metaphysical malaise of contemporary Western society. The Mayan calendar theory portends a global shift for 2012 in consciousness and culture. Audio recordings exploring support and contention towards this theory will accompany the street performance.
Date:
Saturday, October 6 from 3-6pm
Location:
The performance will take place at Papaya Dog, at the corner of First Avenue and 14th Street.
