David Schleifer & Tracy Gilman / The Shape of Fourteenth Street
Fourteenth Street is an artery with seventeen intersecting veins. The Shape of Fourteenth Street will be temporarily printed onto the sidewalks. Meanwhile, vendors will distribute napkins printed with the same image. As pedestrian traffic erases the image from the sidewalks, commercial exchange circulates it, creating awareness of the street’s distinctive shape.

Date:

Monday, October 8 from 9am-5pm

Location:

On the southwest corner of each intersection on 14th Street, moving from west to east.
