Blessings to Remember YOU
Urban priestess, Rev. Lainie Love Dalby, will perform the immersive ritual happening Blessings to Remember YOU up and down ‘the fashion runway’ of 14th Street during AiOP 2012. The artist, who is often referred to as ‘The Lady Gaga of Consciousness,’ will don a signature sculpture from her ARmaTures of Awareness series & invite passer-bys to be ‘blessed’ in an intimate interaction that will activate all twelve of their senses.
Date:
Friday, October 5 from 5 -7pm; Performance at Pedro Albizu Campos Plaza (next to 646 East 14th Street); Saturdays, October 6 and 13; Sundays, October 7 and 14 from 4-7pm
Location:
Performances take place along the “runway†of 14th Street, from Seventh Avenue to the West Side Highway.
