Elizabeth Hamby & Hatuey Ramos Fermín / Street CARTographies
Street CARTographies is a participatory urban intervention that takes place on sidewalks and public gathering places along 14th Street. The cart will hold a community map and visitors to the cart will be invited to pin locations in New York City that are significant to them. Participants will receive a balloon corresponding to the color of the pin, turning the street itself into a map representing the places important to its inhabitants.

Date:

Sunday, October 14 from 1-5pm

Location:

The project will move along the north side 14th Street from Eighth Avenue to Avenue C, and will return to Eighth Avenue along the south side of the street.
