Ilusiones de Percantas (Women’s Dreams) is an intimate, humorous and grotesque dance-theater work where music, theatre and dance fuse. The archetypal characters described in the Tango lyrics come to life through the rhythms of various Tangos, Milongas and Waltzes. Dressed in vintage fashions each character represents a “female prototype†which is as timeless as ever. Ilusiones de Percantas transports the audience to the Argentina of the 1930s, 40s and 50s.
