Couturemonials is a High Fashion Runway performance that will present testimonies and experiences of domestic violence in hopes to shine light on the perceptions and contradictions of what a survivor looks like. As high-fashion models, the artists posture idealized forms of beauty, examine and act out examples of love, control and how gender roles have influenced our perceptions of power in history and contemporary life.
