Find My Future
This interactive performance invites the public to a palm reading. In exchange, participants receive a printed map of hidden art pieces by major artists. While the future of many artists seems to be predicated upon a structured system, science highlights the importance of chaos and chance.
Date:
Saturdays, October 6 and 13 from 4-7pm, and Sunday, October 7 from 12-7pm
Location:
The performance will take place near a bench in Union Square Park.

Gema Alava studied in Madrid, London, San Francisco, and is based in New York City. Her work explores contradictory truths, the capacity to create a maximum by reversing a minimum, and investigates notions of trust and the interconnections between educational and interpretative aspects of art. She has shown at MANIFESTA 8.
