Jamie Crooke / Save Yourself: Relay

Participants are invited to be the performers along 14th Street. Using a map, participants can collect health information from businesses at their own pace. Save Yourself: Relay was inspired by a study conducted in 2012 that found low rates of health literacy to lead to premature death.

Jamie Crooke is a visual artist who incorporates performance and community engaged formats for project-based artwork informed by research. Her interests are at the intersection of urban planning and public health. She works as an artist, educator, and administrator based out of Los Angeles, CA.
