REM Map
What are the dreams of people who are variously speedwalking, texting, touristing, protesting, working and sleepwalking in the city that never sleeps? Thousands of magnetic photographs of a sleeping man are being stuck to metallic surfaces along 14th Street. If you see a magnet, take it, keep it, or put it some place unexpected. These micro-interventions quietly ask: What is the model of your dreams?
Date:
October 5-15
Location:
Magnets will be placed on traffic poles, street signs, bikes and bike racks, subway entrances, parking meters, automobiles, fences, mailboxes and architectural structures along the length of 14th Street.
