Let's Take A Walk...I Need You
Take a walk and learn to knit. Lessons will be given daily to passersby. The knitted pieces become costumes worn during participatory, Twitter-guided walks.
Knitting lessons: October 5-11 from 11am-7pm.
Let's take a walk: Friday, October 12 from 6:30pm-7:15pm. West-bound group walks from Union Square south. Sunday, October 14 from 11-11:45am. East-bound group walks from Union Square south.

October 13 and 15 from 9am-5pm. The artist will display the remains of the unraveled costumes from the walks at various points throughout 14th Street.

Marie Christine Katz is an artist working in performance, video and installation. Born in Switzerland, she has lived in NYC since 1985. Exhibitions include a performance at The Kitchen (NYC), Galerie Duque & Pirson (Brussels, Belgium), Exit Art (NYC), and The Tyler School of Art (Philadelphia).
