Swati Khurana / Scrolling Texts, Texting Scrolls
"Scrolling Texts, Texting Scrolls" is a participatory performance where the artist will transcribe saved text messages of passersby onto scrolls, tied with thread. The artist will have a mobile “work-station” fashioned out of a cigarette girl's tray with translucent vellum, ink pens and red thread. At various moments throughout the festival, the public will be invited to participate, as the artist moves along different points on 14th Street.

Sunday, October 7 from 1-3pm and Friday, October 12 from 1-3pm

Location:

Sunday: High Line entrance on 14th Street. Friday: along Union Square South.
